WELCOME TO THE COSY STUBE

Après Moments

Stuben am Arlberg has to thank its cosy, quaint name to its original purpose. In fact, in the past it was meant to guarantee everyone who arrived or went to the Arlberg “fire, water and a roof over their head”. The area was given in the 12th century to the Order of St. John by Earl Hugo von Montfort. They were tasked with building an accommodation for travellers. The rooms built at the time were called “Stuben” (snuggeries). Travellers found protection from snow storms and accommodation from the approaching dusk in the heated rooms.

The same can be said of the rooms today, whether you visit the hotel to enjoy good cuisine, company, or simply to relax. On the SONNENDECK 1400, at the HANNES SCHNEIDER BAR, in the ARLEN SPA to benefit from all its services, in the POSTAMT Restaurant and of course in the rooms and suites. We want to create precious APRÈS MOMENTS for you when you come back to the warm Stuben from a day out spent skiing or hiking.

The original idea came to us based on the old tiled stove in the POSTAMT Restaurant which can be found in its modern reinterpretations in the middle of the rooms in a Terrastone block. The central fireplace, which connects the hotel lobby to the HANNES SCHNEIDER BAR, is the ideal and welcoming location for catching up or meeting new people. Even in the SCA STUBE, which is dedicated to the Skiclub Arlberg, you can relax after a day spent out in the fresh air. You can find interesting reads on sport, the territory, as well as the region and its people.

Providing a secure house to us mainly means listening to your heart’s desire in everything we do, so that our APRÈS MOMENTS make your holiday into an extraordinary experience. Leave the daily grind behind and feel right at home with us.
