At the beginning of the 19th century, mail coach services began operating across the Arlberg. The enterprising innkeeper and postmaster Johann Josef Fritz was also active in the transport business.

Our current menu features traditional Austrian dishes — once served in the days of the mail coaches — as well as international creations made with regional ingredients.
