Stuben and St. Anton offer several natural toboggan runs that are equally suitable for families, thrill-seekers and those who simply want to enjoy the experience. You can hire toboggans at any time from our hotel’s own sports shop.
Three recommended tobogganing tours near Hotel Après Post
Gampen Toboggan Evening – from the top station down to the valley
- Probably the best-known toboggan run in the region starts at the Gampen lift at an altitude of 1,850 m.
- Distance: around 4.3 km – one of the longer natural toboggan runs.
- Vertical drop: approx. 500 metres – guaranteeing action and fun on the way down.
- Opening hours: Open during the day from around 12:00 to 16:15; on toboggan evenings (Tuesday & Thursday) it is lit until around 21:30.
Gampen Daytime Toboggan Run
- If you’d like to toboggan during the day, the same route from Gampen is an excellent choice. This natural run is rated “intermediate” and is well suited to families as well as more experienced tobogganers.
- The run is well secured with snow barriers and offers beautiful alpine panoramas on the descent.
- Toboggan return: At the end of the run you’ll find Robi’s Rodelstall, where you can return the toboggans.
Guided Toboggan Tour from Stuben (with guest card)
- According to the Klostertal region’s holiday guide, there is a guided toboggan tour you can join with a minimum of 4 participants.
- Included: toboggan, hot drink and a taxi for the return transfer to the valley. Advance registration is required — you can sign up directly with us at the hotel.
