The Lech golf course in the Zugertal valley is Austria’s highest golf course, with nine holes that run idyllically along the River Lech and blend harmoniously into the high-alpine landscape.
Golf Club Lech – Arlberg/Klostertal
Golf in a high-alpine setting. The 9-hole course in the Zugertal valley. In the breathtaking Zugertal at 1,500 m above sea level, Lech Golf Course was created as Austria’s highest golf course.
In the idyllic Zugertal valley near Lech, the nine holes lie on both sides of the River Lech. Nature itself has already determined the course layout. Upstream, you head towards the Rote Wand as far as the Zugertobel. After the 3rd tee, the fairway follows the Lech to the Stierlochbach and then passes the fish pond before returning to the start. The Arlberg – and the Zugertal in particular – has been spared heavy-handed tourist “beautification”.
