The “Vorarlberg Circular Hiking Trail” delights with diverse cultural and natural landscapes in five regions. The elevation profiles range from the gentle rolling hills of the Bregenzerwald to routes above the tree line in the Silvretta or the Rätikon.
“Min Weag” – the Vorarlberg Circular Hiking Trail
“Min Weag” comes from the Vorarlberg dialect and means “My Way”: around Vorarlberg in one go – or perhaps just a short stage? Join wherever you like. Clockwise or counter-clockwise? Either way. A whole host of possibilities. Stories at every step.
An extraordinary diversity in a very small area awaits you: the landscape as a work of art, encounters with people deeply rooted in the region, and fascinating episodes along the way. For example, the legacy of the Bregenzerwald Baroque master builders, or the rise and fall of the Wälder cheese barons. In the Rätikon, the Silvretta and the Arlberg area, prehistoric finds show that there was already lively exchange across the passes back then. And in the Vorarlberg Rhine Valley, you can follow the traces of early industrialists who—like John Sholto Douglass—played a key role in shaping the development history of the local mountains.
Nature and culture can also be discovered beyond clichés. Across varied natural zones that reinterpret the idea of a countryside escape—where the mountains call (or a shepherd), the forests rustle (or a stream), and the lakes ripple (or a spa).

Min Weag 13 | Kaltenberg Hütte – Konstanzer Hütte
A beautiful high-alpine tour across grassy slopes and rocky terrain, up via the Krachelspitze and the Gstandsjöchli and from there down to the Konstanzer Hütte.
